Since I was a kid this had been my favorite chicken spot in the world. I look forward to summer weekends just to get my Greenwood fix. This place will always have a very special place in my heart.

I dream of this chicken since I moved away 10 years ago. In fact I drive 40 minutes from my parents just to get this chicken when I come back to visit. It is not your normal southern BBQ or Texas BBQ so if your wanting that style this place isn't for you. HOWEVER, this BBQ chicken is not only unique but in my opinion better then any other I've ever tried. The sauce they use in a vinegar base and really keeps the quicken moist and is cooked til it almost falls off the bone. It cost $8 and you can choose half a chicken or 2 quarters. You also get pickles, a roll, and chips. It is a great value and is amazing. If you have never tried it get there between May and the end of October and try it.

Support your first responders. The chicken is awsome .The people who fix the chicken and the people who wait on you are awesome, very nice , friendly people . My cousin was a fire chief at this fire department, who was killed in a controlled burning . He loved his job,took pride in serving the public. Never thought twice about putting his life on the line as all these brave fireman do.

Great chicken, great price, great service. Sauce is different but it’s tasty and great for dipping. Even when the line is long the people still are very nice and friendly. Def a solid consistent spot.
